Neurodiversity is an umbrella term that refers to a collection of largely genetic conditions affecting how someone thinks, learns, socialises, focuses or pays attention, experiences the world, and processes information.
WELCOME TO THE NEURODIVERSITY CENTRE
What is neurodiversity?
Neurodivergence includes conditions like autism spectrum, ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, OCD, developmental co-ordination differences, sensory integration struggles, auditory processing conditions, and anxiety.
Recent research is also showing us how these conditions co-occur and overlap and aren’t as standalone as we previously thought them to be. Of course, other mental health concerns can exist alongside neurodevelopmental conditions and often do.

WHAT WE AIM FOR
Our vision
We aim to be a multi-disciplinary support hub with integrity and kindness at its core.
The vision of the NDC is to raise awareness of neurodevelopmental conditions and provide a hub of support to individuals, families, schools, educators, employers and the general society in removing barriers to meaningful inclusion for people aiming to reach their potential. We wish for a country and a world where all children, adolescents, adults and relationships can thrive and where integrated education and inclusive environments are encouraged.
Our hope for each person who accesses our services would be accurate and world-class assessment, practical environmental support, peace of mind and self-worth, and the chance to reach their full potential and flourish.
Services
The Neurodiversity Centre has a multidisciplinary team of professionals committed to advocacy, support and care for neurodivergent people.
