PART 1 INTRODUCTION
Women and Girls on the Spectrum: Theory and Understanding
Historically, women and girls with ASD have been under diagnosed and under-represented in literature owing to a bias to more ‘male’ phenotype being held as the standard profile of autism.
This course seeks to elaborate the ways in which female autism tends to differ in presentation, in order to improve clinical assessment and therapeutic service provision to individuals with ASD.
