FOR JOB SEEKERS
Work as a Neuro-affirming Facilitator, Au Pair, Tutor or Companion
Join our talent pool and build a meaningful career supporting neurodivergent children and adults
Meaningful work, with real training and support behind you
The NDC Facilitation Academy recruits school facilitators, au pairs, tutors and adult companions for families of neurodivergent children and adults across South Africa, with dedicated branches in the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal.
We are not a general childcare agency. We are part of the Neurodiversity Centre’s clinical multidisciplinary team, which means you are matched carefully to a family where your strengths genuinely fit, and you can be trained and supported by clinicians who specialise in neurodiversity.
If you are empathetic, flexible, patient and committed to learning, and you want work that makes a real difference, we would love to hear from you.

What can I expect to earn?
As a guideline, hourly rates for au pairs and facilitators typically range from R80 to R200 per hour. Generally, the fewer hours worked, the higher the hourly rate, and the more hours worked, the lower the rate. Actual rates depend on the hours and days needed and on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. We guide families and candidates through this.
Tuition rates differ across educational levels, from early childhood development (ECD) and foundation phase through intermediate and high school. As a guideline, primary school tutors earn at least R200 per hour and high school tutors R300 per hour, subject to the specific requirements of each family.
